The family photos I have from my childhood seem sterile and removed from what life was actually like at that time. Rarely were our days spent, all of us wearing matching red turtlenecks and hanging out under the bright lights of a small portrait studio…
In straightforward terms, documentary photography is the process of capturing honest moments, un-staged and un-contrived, of everyday life.
I’m not a wedding photographer. I’m not a family portrait photographer. I document life around me, and I believe authentic and candid images will last a lifetime. The main reason I do this is to help people relive the memories of their very precious family time together.

As I began documenting life on the road, artists & musicians began inviting me into their homes once the tour was over, asking if I would capture that part of their life as well.
Shooting in the same, candid style, I created a timeless memory of them and their loved ones.
My clients love the fact that they get honest, authentic memories of these extraordinary times.
